How Much Money Queen Obama Just Spent Will Make You PULL Your Hair Out
As the Obamas continue to spend taxpayer dollars by the handful and issue decrees on a whim, Americans have come to the understanding that the current First Family lives like royalty, rather than elected officials.
Michelle Obama’s latest trip was no different, despite her trying to offer an incredibly lame excuse. For those unaware, Michelle recently traveled to Cambodia to promote a girls education initiative. During that time, the First Lady, along with a variety of U.S. government officials, decided to stay at the Sofitel Angkor Phokeethra Golf and Spa Resort.
Here’s where things get interesting (or maybe not so much) as BizPac Review reports:
The trip required 85 single rooms, five office suites, five sleeping suites, and one conference room for 14 nights. Mrs. Obama herself only stayed in Cambodia for two days, leaving on March 22.
According to a government contract recently released, the trip cost taxpayers a staggering $242,500, and that’s just for the hotel accommodations. Those worried about the additional cost of government officials spending an addition 12 days in Cambodia for no reason whatsoever need not stress any longer as the government has offered justification.
