Man Pronounced Dead Suddenly Starts Moving Arms and Legs

A Milwaukee man who was found unresponsive in his home last week was pronounced dead on site but shocked everyone by moving his arms and legs, authorities said.

A 46-year-old man’s girlfriend reported him missing, sending authorities to his home. When police arrived, they found Thomas Sancomb unresponsive, “cold to the touch,” and seemingly in the throws of rigor mortis.

The man was pronounced dead at the scene at 2:10 PM by forensic investigator Genevieve M. Penn, and after an autopsy was scheduled, the transport team arrived to take the “body” to the medical examiner’s office.

But shocking everyone, at about 3 PM, Sancomb exhibited “spontaneous respiration” and began to move his arms and legs.

Medical technicians affirmed that the man’s pulse returned and that he was coming back to life, so he was then rushed to the hospital.

Mr. Sancomb’s brother told the media that he is getting better with each passing day.

“Thomas’ health is the most important thing we’re focusing on right now,” Sancomb’s brother said while declining to say any more about the incident.

Thus far, the medical examiner’s office has refused to comment on the story.
