May 2, 2015 – one year anniversary of Odessa massacre

 

Today, May 2, 2015 marks exactly one year since Ukrainian radical nationalists and various neo-Nazi groups attacked peaceful demonstrators in Odessa. Ukrainian nationalists chased about 50 demonstrators into a city trade building and began throwing Molotov cocktails at the building setting it on fire. Over 40 people burnt alive. Those who managed to escape the flames were beaten and humiliated by Ukrainian radical nationalists.

In many cities in Ukraine and abroad people remember the Odessa massacre. After ceasing power in Kiev through violent coup radical nationalists moved on to other cities to establish their power.

Today there were heightened security measures in Odessa. Over 3,000 law enforcement officers were brought in to the city from western Ukraine to uphold peace.

Not a single radical nationalist was punished or prosecuted for horrible crimes they committed that day or afterwards where they attack people of Donetsk and Lugansk for not recognizing coup in stalled regime in Kiev. However, Kiev regime did arrest demonstrators who were able to survive the fire claiming that they set themselves on fire.
