Poll: French do not trust the government to fight against terrorism

According to an Ifop survey for Le Figaro , 67% of respondents in the aftermath of the Nice attack did not put their trust in the President and his government to face and fight effectively against terrorism. 81% of French respondents are willing to accept more controls and some limitation of their freedom.

According to an Ifop poll for Le Figaro , 67% of respondents in the aftermath of the bombing in Nice said they did not have confidence in Francois Hollande and his government to face and fight against terrorism. Unscrewing of the executive on this burning issue is even clearer than the previous four barometers of Ifop, made between 8 January 2015 and 5 January 2016, had located that trust between 49% and 51%. In six months, the power has lost sixteen points trust. If one in two French believes the war in France, 81% of respondents are willing to accept more controls and some limitation of their freedoms.
