Russia Is Using Heavy Bombers On ISIS For the First Time: New Footage
Here is new footage of the Russian air operations in Syria, where their armed forces are using heavy bombers for the first time: Tupolev Tu-160, Tu-95MS and Tu-22M3. The Tu-22 bombers are area bombing with dumb bombs, while other aircraft are using precise cruise missiles
Russia started to bomb targets in this region on September 30, 2015. Putin’s government claims that its forces are massively striking ISIS targets. However, some Western analysts claim they are not bombing just ISIS targets but moderate rebel forces fighting the al-Assad regime.
Meanwhile Russia’s tactical fighters and attack jets are surging operations from their base south of Latakia, Syria, amidst the confirmation of the terrorist attack of a Russian airliner over Egypt.
