Sandusky has been accused of pedophilic behavior in the past (big time) and through the obvious covering up by higher-ups at Penn State and possibly higher, nothing ever became of these charges. If a child or the child's parents accuse someone of indecent sexual behavior, it is usually very detrimental for the accused. Even, if the accusations are never proven. The accusations alone usually ruin the accused, even if he is proven innocent. But this hasn't been the case with Sandusky. Which points to higher powers going to great lengths to protect him? During a private briefing with diplomats from the American Embassy, in Dublin, the Health Service Executive (HSE) made this shocking admission. The cables showed that foreign-born children, who were under the care of the HSE, went missing and ended up in the sex-trade as far back as 2008. The HSE made these admissions while US diplomats were conducting research for an annual report into people trafficking in Ireland. The HSE told diplomats that some foreign children had been retraced to brothels, restaurants and private households where they were being used as slaves. According to reports in the Irish Independent, the children were found in various towns throughout Ireland    June  6th 2011   US Jesuits to Pay $166 Million Abuse Payout   'A US Jesuit order has agreed to pay 166 million dollars to settle more than 500 child sexual abuse cases at religious mission schools in five US states, lawyers say. The US Northwest chapter of the Rome-based Society of Jesus agreed to pay the money to compensate those abused by members of the Oregon Province from the 1940s through to the 1990s. According to lawyers, this is one of the largest settlements in the Roman Catholic church's sweeping sex abuse scandal, AFP reported. The victims were Native Americans and Alaska Natives who were abused by the priests and missionaries in the states of Oregon, Washington, Alaska, Idaho and Montana.   March 26th 2011       Are Canadian Courts Protecting Pedophiles?   Imagine one day your children are taken away from their home, their bed, their familiar surroundings and neighbourhood, their mother against their will by a court order. Imagine from that day forward, you are told you are not allowed to see, speak to, phone, interact with your children, freely again. You are told if you do, you will be breaking the law, would be in contempt of court, and could go to prison. You don't know but can only assume that your children have been told the same. Even though you know your children are suffering, heartbroken and traumatized by this unjust law (a court order is the law), anything you do to help your children is used against you. Imagine that the few moments you are allowed with your children is under strict scrutiny and surveillance, called 'supervision'. This is for no reason you or your children can comprehend. Although you have never been a danger to or posed any kind of risk or harm to your children, the court has ordered you be supervised. Where every move, word and interaction between you and your children is written down by the stranger that is watching you. (A few supervised hours you are allowed a month with your children in a rule based, public-setting). You have no right to know what your children have been told, why their mother was taken from them. You can only hope (and pray) that your relationship can be salvaged, after two years of only seeing them for one meager single weeks worth of supervised hours. With 13 as the average age, many victims of sexual trafficking are usually beaten and raped into submission by the men who hire and exploit them. The booming prostitution and child-sex industry in the US has made human rights advocates fight for stronger laws to bring predators to justice and to help get the young kids off the streets. This is the same former fishing tour operator who was indicted last year by the Brazilian federal police for prostitution, rape and violating Indian protection laws .     Delaware crime: Pedophile doctors not new, not rare   The allegations against Lewes pediatrician Earl B. Bradley might be the most heinous in U.S. history, but he's far from the only pediatrician accused of being a pedophile. In the past 10 years, dozens of doctors have been accused of abusing hundreds of children. Many of those cases took decades to uncover, and experts believe many other pedophiles are operating undetected. Bradley's case stands out because of the depravity of his alleged crimes, said Dr. Eli Newberger, a professor at Harvard Medical School and a pediatrician who has studied child-abuse cases for almost 40 years. "It's the worst pediatrician abuse case I've ever heard of." Some of Bradley's actions alleged by prosecutors -- videotaping himself forcing oral and vaginal sex on children as young as 3 months old -- were "incredibly traumatic" and violent, he said. "The fact that the children tried to escape is an unassailable negative," said Newberger, who has agreed to testify in a civil case filed by families of Bradley's alleged victims.         First Europe, then the US – now abuse claims sweep Latin America   The paedophile priest scandal currently enveloping the Vatican has spread to one of the most Catholic areas of the world following a string of new abuse revelations throughout Latin America.   Reports of priests raping or abusing minors have now emerged in Brazil, Bolivia, Uruguay, Mexico and Chile causing growing anger in a continent that is home to nearly half the world’s Catholics. In Brazil an 83-year-old priest has been arrested after he was secretly filmed in bed with a 19-year-old altar boy. The footage was broadcast on national television networks prompting a police investigation which led to the arrest of Monsignor Luiz Marques Barbosa and two other priests in the north eastern state of Alagoas. They have since been accused of abusing boys as young as 12 and have been suspended by their diocesan bishop.           Police fear scale of child sex abuse investigation   Two men have already appeared in court on abuse allegations involving two girls. The Northern Constabulary investigation, described as one of the largest of its kind in years, is continuing into “a number” of other complaints. The complaints, which centre on the Muir of Ord area of Ross-shire, cover a number of years and date back to the 1990s. Highland Council’s social work department have been notified and are dealing with the families affected. It is anticipated the inquiry will continue for at least another 13 weeks and was first referred to in a brief three-sentence mention in Chief Constable Ian Latimer’s crime situation report to the Northern Joint Police Board. The abuse had begun when Hollie was just six years` old. Hollie said that Greg had also been abused by his father.   Anne Greig reported this immediately to the local police station in Aberdeen. During the course of that summer, Hollie, who has Down`s Syndrome, began to provide more names of abusers. It transpired that Denis Mackie had been sharing his daughter with a ring of sexual abusers, which included a serving police officer with the Grampian force, Terry Major and an Aberdeen sheriff, Graeme Buchanan. Medical and other evidence supported Hollie`s account and Grampian Police accepted the truth of Hollie`s statement. Nonetheless, no action was taken by Grampian Police against the perpetrators and despite Anne Greig`s persistence, the Procurator Fiscal, now Lord Advocate, Elish Angiolini prevented any police action taking place.   In fact, the authorities instead attempted to discredit and intimidate Anne by having her forcibly taken to a mental institution, with the intention of handing Hollie back to her abuser father. Fortunately, Anne Greig had the presence of mind to have herself checked by a leading psychiatrist, who proclaimed her perfectly sane, a view with which even the institution were forced to concur. In the years that have followed, Anne Greig has persisted in her attempts to bring the abusers to justice, not only for the sake of her own children, but also to prevent these dreadful practices continuing against others, which includes adults with learning difficulties as well as children.        Holly Greig Scandal Shakes Politicos   Aberdeen (Correspondent John Taylor): Scotland Against Crooked Lawyers (SACL) bid to win the Aberdeen South constituency received another huge boost last night when the party overcame the odds to score a decisive victory in the first hustings of the campaign. In some respects it becomes almost impossible not to become emotional as to how such a girl and her mum continue to deal with this fight against authority and peodophilia. The size of this problem is beyond imagination and reaches to the highest authority in all walks of life. The priority at the moment is to secure a copy of the FBI’s British Peodophile list which was handed over to the UK police during the Blair regime but was suppressed because it named some very senior political figures.       Update: Holly Greig: Sheriff gets court order to silence (Muzzle) Journalist   An Aberdeen sheriff has obtained a gagging order against a would-be MP who has accused him of abusing a young, disabled girl. Sheriff Graham Buchanan was forced to resort to legal action after Robert Green continued to spread the allegations against him, despite two separate police investigations finding there was no truth in them. So, the sheriff, one of the highest ranking police officials is cleared by a local police investigation. I wonder how difficult that was to put together. Mr Green, who describes himself as a lay legal adviser, is representing Hollie Greig, who has Down’s syndrome and who alleges that she was systematically abused by a pedophile ring for 14 years from the age of six. Mr Green presents himself as a journalist, but hey, Scotland probably doesn't have much experience with real journalism. Mr Green has named a number of men and women, including Sheriff Buchanan and a now-deceased former senior policeman, as having taken part in the abuse. Actually, Holly Greig named the names.
