Scientology Church Has Secret Alien Space Cathedral In New Mexico Desert redOrbit.com A gigantic symbol etched into the desert in New Mexico holds below it a secret “alien space cathedral” built by Tom Cruise’s Scientology church, according to one man’s account. Local news site WPBF.com reported that a group of Satanists plans to hold a rally outside Scott's office on Jan. 25 to support the governor’s signing of a bill that allows students to pray at school events. "We've gotten such a response, it's just impossible for me to know what that translates into," Satanic Temple spokesman Lucien Greaves told WPBF, regarding how many will show up at the rally. “You don’t build up your membership unless people know about you,” Greaves said in a separate interview with the Palm Beach Post. “So this allows us to get our message out in public. We’re hoping it will reduce the stigmatism.” The Satanic Temple was launched in 2012 with what Greaves described as being “more or less an online community.”

Freemasons grow in popularity in Asia Telegraph: The Freemasons are thriving in Asia as expats look for a ready-made network of professionals to help them settle into a new country. The supposedly secret society, which dates back to the 18th century, is seeing a lot of young blood join its ranks overseas to help break the stuffy image of retired old judges meeting behind closed doors. Masonic murals return to Cox Buidling   Sometimes, there are stories that are best "written" with pictures. This story about the recreation of the Masonic murals inside the Cox building is one of those times. Before time, neglect and a fire took their toll, the murals in the Cox building where bold and vibrant in color and held a sacred meaning to the Masonic Lodge organization and its traditions. Research on the murals has been led by a team of artists with Oppenheimer Art Recovery of Chicago. The artists first arrived in Maysville in December 2010, to evaluate whether or not the walls the murals were painted on could be saved. Unfortunately, the decision was rendered there was no way to save the original artwork, and the year-long process began to recreate the murals. The process has involved extensive research about the Masonic organization itself, said Geoff Smalley of Oppenheimer, and traditional Masonic icons like the hourglass, beehive and Maltese cross. These icons were known to be part of the mural artwork in the Cox building, as documented by photographs, Geoff said.

Historian Brought Freemasons to Heel   During a brief period from 1940-1944 in France, Freemasonry met its nemesis. He wasn't a mighty warrior but rather an intellectual. Harvard-educated historian, Bernard Fay, a member of the College de France and Director of the National Library, headed an investigative unit that rooted out Freemasons. Working for Vichy President Philippe Petain and the Gestapo, Bernard Fay compiled a list of 170,000 Freemasons, of whom 989 were sent to concentration camps where 549 were shot. Code of Mysterious Secret Society Cracked Centuries Later   A mysterious encrypted manuscript of a secret society, meticulously written in abstract symbols and Roman letters, has finally been deciphered more than three centuries after it was first handwritten, scientists now reveal. The enciphered message, or cryptogram, revealed the rituals and political aims of an enigmatic 18th-century German fellowship, the "Oculist Order," revealing the society had a fascination with eye surgery, though it seems members of the society were not eye doctors. "This opens up a window for people who study the history of ideas and the history of secret societies," said researcher Kevin Knight, a computer scientist at the University of Southern California. "Historians believe that secret societies have had a role in revolutions, but all that is yet to be worked out, and a big part of the reason, is because so many documents are enciphered."

Rupert Murdoch’s Papal Knighthood Questioned   There are calls from all sides in British politics for Rupert Murdoch to hand back – or be stripped of – his papal knighthood if he is found culpable in any way for the recent phone hacking scandal involving his British tabloid newspaper, The News of the World. Rupert Murdoch was made a Knight Commander of St. Gregory in 1998. Although not a Catholic, he had apparently been recommended for the honor by Cardinal Roger Mahony of Los Angeles after giving money to a Church education fund. Historic display marks Masons' milestone   A walking stick used by Abraham Lincoln and a Thomas Jefferson's violin. Those are just a couple of the items that are part of a display from the Sterling Masonic Lodge that is now setup at Sterling Public Library. According to Chaplain Bob Elsloo, the display is traveling museum of just a small portion of the items that are at the M.W. Grand Lodge of Colorado A.F. & A.M., in Colorado Springs. The Grand Lodge Library and Museum is open from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m., Monday through Friday. "It's just one way to get out in the community and commemorate 150 years in Colorado," Elsloo said about the display.

Blair's priest fixed papal knighthoods for cash: Senior Catholic took up to £50k donations for honours   One of Britain’s most high-profile Catholic priests has admitted arranging papal knighthoods for wealthy businessmen for money. Father Michael Seed, who regularly celebrated Mass for Tony Blair and his family in Downing Street, now faces questions from his religious order after an investigation by The Mail on Sunday. The most damaging evidence concerns his attempted cultivation of an Israeli arms dealer, Hezi Bezalel, who was seeking business opportunities in the Balkans. It shows that Fr Seed, a former ecumenical adviser to the Archbishop of Westminster, had ‘agreed’ a papal knighthood for Mr Bezalel before approaching him. In return for a £45,000 donation to charity, Fr Seed said he could also introduce Mr Bezalel to influential Balkan politicians ‘and the man who looks after all arms for the region’. Mr Bezalel declined the offer, saying he did not give to charity ‘under instruction’.

How Steve Jobs was denied a knighthood... as the world watches to see if he will appear at the launch of the iPad 2   Steve Jobs was denied an honorary knighthood in 2009 because of then Prime Minister Gordon Brown, according to a former senior Labour MP. It was revealed today that the proposal to knight Mr Jobs reached final stages in London. But it was blocked by Downing Street after Mr Jobs snubbed an appearance at Labour’s annual conference, the Telegraph reported. It is unclear why Mr Jobs rejected the invitation to speak at the conference, which was held as Mr Brown’s Labour government hit one of its lowest levels in popularity.

Wall Street's Secret Society Elects New Members   This weekend a tight-lipped group of power brokers elected two new members into Kappa Beta Phi, Wall Street's secret society founded in 1929, Bloomberg reported. The organization, dubbed "Wall Street's Frat" by the WSJ elected Barclays M&A chief Paul Parker and Leon Black, a senior managing director at buyout firm the Apollo Group, in a posh ceremony at Manhattan's St. Regis Hotel. Masons seek tax-exempt status       Five state representatives, all Freemasons, want an exemption on Masonic temple property taxes, citing the group's charitable contributions to illustrate its qualifications. But Kathryn Temchack, the city director of real estate assessments, believes the group unfairly wants special treatment. House Bill 396, sponsored by four Republicans and Democrat Stephen Shurtleff of Penacook, seeks to add "Masonic temples or building associations to institutions whose property is exempt from taxation." Well, get ready for the media storm, because that's essentially what Hersh told an audience in Doha, Qatar recently, according to a report published earlier this week by Foreign Policy. Speaking at a campus operated by Georgetown University's School of Foreign Service, Hersh said he was working on a new book that details "how eight or nine neoconservative, radicals if you will, overthrew the American government."

The 12 masonic signs of recognition   This post is a review of the masonic signs described in the German book: "Freimaurersignale in der Presse" or freemasonic signals in the press.(This book and Richardson's monitor of freemasonry can be downloaded on peer to peer like emule or you can also buy them online from a number of sources). The names for the signs come from the book "Sign Language Of The Mysteries" which was written decades earlier (see the other post on this blog for a review). Columbus and the Knights Templar       1307 was the start of the extermination of the Knights Templar by the King of France (who owed the Knights Templar a great deal of money and wished to evade the debt) and the church, which was jealous of the Templar's power. Both King and cleric coveted the Templars' vast wealth. 36 Knights Templar were tortured to death in France, following their arrest on Friday, the 13th of October, 1307. This is the origin of the belief that Friday the 13th is unlucky. The Templars were formally disbanded by the church in 1312.

Mormon leader's Masonic Handshake Raises Eyebrows       To see a President of the Mormon church exchanging a Masonic grip that signifies "brotherhood" with the Masters of Evil, has caused more than its share of concern both within and without the Church. The difference between the Masonic ordinances and the LDS Temple ordinances are glaringly obvious to someone that understands both. The Masons claim their signs, tokens and ordinances from Solomon's Temple, through the apostate Knights Templars. Whether the Templars discovered their tokens and ordinances in the Temple Mount they excavated, or in the archives at Rome and Constantinople, is not entirely clear.

Freemasons Control Local Commerce   The late 1980's found me at the helm of my own successful repair business located in a large metropolitan area on the East Coast. Conflicts with Masons were rare during my first thirteen years in business and I found their membership to be quite civil. I attributed this to the area's fast paced, competitive environment, high educational standards and a significant Catholic influence. With the coming of George Bush Sr., things rapidly took a turn for the worse. In late 1991, I closed my doors and moved my equipment to a parcel of land I had previously purchased as an investment in South Central PA. Situated adjacent to the interstate, it was a prime location for business, with a livable house and all the proper zoning in place. The obvious snag was a strong Masonic presence evidenced by billboards along the highway staking out this territory.

My First Experience of Freemasons   The probing began on my first day aboard. Masonic passwords, gestures, handshakes and body language accompanied several of the introductions to my new shipmates. Each meeting with a Mason quickly became an unspoken test to determine the status of my priorities. In many cases, the person I met would try several different tactics to induce the proper response before giving up. Their reactions to having an "unknown value" who probably wasn't a Mason in their midst clearly demonstrated their disappointment. These first encounters set the tone for my six-month stay aboard this particular ship where an obvious Mason/non-Mason schism existed among the vessel's occupants. This schism was notably evident in the officer's mess where I shared a table with two cadets from another school (neither of whom were Masons) and the radio operator who was an overt Mason

On Sun Yat‑Sen's death bed this Jew was commended to Chiang Kai‑Shek and he was employed as liaison officer between the Canton Government and all foreign Consulates‑General. Cohen became known in China as Moi‑Sha, and was made Military Counsellor to the Cantonese Forces, and a General, although still a British subject.

History of the Knights Templar   On a day in March in 1314, after seven years of questioning, imprisonment and brutal torture, two old men were dragged from their cells through the crowded streets of Paris and on an island in the Seine were tied to stakes over piles of hot coals and literally roasted to death. Brutal even by the excesses of the day, who were theses two men that they could warrant such treatment. Geoffrey de Charney and Jacques de Molay's death marked the end of a once revered organisation, at least in the eyes of conventional history books, they were, respectively, the Preceptor of Normandy and the Grand Master of the Order of the Knights Templar. Their fall from grace had political motivations guised in accusations of Blasphemy, sodomy, devil worship and occultism. Rather than submit to these false accusations and spend the rest of their life in prison, as many of their colleagues had chosen to do, they decided that they would rather die with their honour intact and so chose an unimaginable route to martyrdom. With them, for all practical purposes, died the Order of Knights Templar which for 200 years had shaped the face of Western Europe.

Freemasonry, Kidnapping & Murder   From all accounts Maureen Spalek was the model mother, caring for her three children in the best way she possibly could. Life was pretty routine for Maurine, until she had a falling out with her high-level Freemason Husband: "once married to an individual who told her openly that he was an untouchable high level Freemason. After a major disagreement and subsequent divorce her children were illegally taken after a visit to hospital for one of her children who was knocked over by a motor cycle in suspicious circumstances. The nurse involved wrote a report saying that Maureen was unstable and an unfit mother. The children were immediately taken in to care and very soon after adopted. Maureen has had independent reports stating that she is perfectly fit."

Website exposes names of Freemasons to show “The full extent of masonic influence”   Rebecca,a magazine set up by Paddy French in the 1970s, has been resurrected this month as an online publication.French, a former senior current affairs producer with ITV Wales, said: “The full extent of masonic influence will never be known until the identity of all freemasons is revealed. There are a quarter of a million masons in England and Wales, and Cardiff alone has 65 lodges [branches].“The governing body, the United Grand Lodge of England, holds computerised registers and it would be a simple matter for them to place these online. “At a stroke this would make freemasonry completely respectable. Time and time again, the United Grand Lodge has refused to give information to Rebecca.”The directory, which lists about two-thirds of freemasons in Wales, includes the names of police officers and prominent lawyers. As well as written journalism, the website will show video investigations.
