Ukraine up for sale: Kiev encourages American investors to buy its state assets
Ukraine’s prime minister Arseny Yatsenyuk has called on American investors to buy the country’s state assets, especially in the energy sector. More than 300 strategically important companies are on offer – including coal-mining industries, agriculture and sea ports. Plus, there’s more than 30 million hectares of farmland in Ukraine that might also go on sale – the government is weighing the option.
